If a dozen farm animals are born on your farm, you can’t go wrong with seven goats and five lambs – which is just what happened at the White Post Farm in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire, U.K. This time of year the farm puts on daily nativity plays, showcases real reindeer and “Santa’s Grotto.” The new baby animals add to the festivities.
“They’re so beautiful and so friendly—visitors love them, and so do we. It makes us look forward to coming to work to see them bouncing around the farm,” Anthony Moore, manager of White Post Farm told Chad.co.uk. “I’ve worked here for 15 years and the magic still hasn’t worn off on me yet.”
According to Chad.co.uk, the newborns will be looked after by veterinary students from West Nottinghamshire College. The farm also hosts educational and interactive days during which schoolchildren will get the opportunity to bottle-feed the lambs and goat kids.
