Ingredients
- sliced whole-wheat bread
- fruit preserves or jam
- peanut butter
- ground flaxseed
Preparation
Roll bread as flat as possible with rolling pin. Spread thin layer of peanut butter and fruit spread on bread. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon flaxseed and gently roll up tight. Once log is rolled, use butter knife to slice in 2-inch sushi rolls. (Even though butter knives aren’t very sharp, supervision is recommended with younger children.)
